One Direction ticket collection details released

Done Events, organisers of the forthcoming One Direction concert at The Sevens Stadium on Saturday 4th April, have announced ticket collection details.  The concert, which will be the largest ever staged in the UAE and is the bands only Middle East date sold out in just 4-weeks when the tickets went on sale last May.

At present customers who purchased online only have an email confirmation, whilst those who purchased tickets in-store from Virgin Megastores, were issued a till receipt.  Tickets have not been released before now as a security measure to prevent potential counterfeit tickets from entering the market or profiteering from re-selling.  Tickets will be available from collection from 10:00am Wednesday 11th March, although dates vary for customers in Qatar and Bahrain.

Customers collecting tickets will also be issued with event specific information, that includes recommended driving routes to the event, show times and safety advise.

For customers with any ticket enquiries, please contact your ticket retailer in the first instance.  The ticket collection and delivery detail for both Time Out Tickets and Virgin Megastore are listed below.

TICKETS PURCHASED FROM TIME OUT TICKETS

The person who made the purchase can only collect tickets. Upon collecting tickets, each customer will be requested to present their online order confirmation and one of the following valid original government photo identification documents: Emirates ID card, Drivers Licence or Passport.

Venue Box Office:

Please note, customers that have opted for Venue Box Office collection as the ticket collection method will have the opportunity to collect their tickets in advance to avoid any queues on the day of the event. Time Out Tickets strongly recommends that customers collect their tickets in advance. The details for advance collection are as follows.

Advanced Collection:
Customers, who wish to collect their tickets in advance, can do so from the Time Out Tickets Box Office in Dubai Media City. Click here for location map, directions and timings. Please note that tickets will be available in advance from 9am Wednesday 11th March.

For those customers who have opted for Venue Box Office Collection and would like to collect their tickets on the day of the event, the Venue Box Office will open at midday on Saturday 4th April. Again, Time Out Tickets strongly recommends that tickets are collected before the day of the event.

For those customers who have opted for Secured Delivery, the following procedure will apply.

Secured Delivery:
For customers that have requested Secured Delivery, their tickets will be delivered starting from Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Certain locations such as Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, Khalifa City, Al Raha, Al Reef and Madinat Zayed are ‘Out of Delivery Areas’. Click here to view the full list. If a customer’s shipping address is within the ‘Out of Delivery Areas’, please contact 1Dtickets@timeouttickets.com to arrange another method of collection. Any tickets that are undelivered will be available for collection from the Venue Box Office on the day of the event.

TICKETS PURCHASED FROM VIRGIN MEGASTORES

For customers who purchased their tickets in-store at Virgin Megastores or online from www.virginmegastore.me can collect their tickets from Wednesday 11th – Wednesday 25th March*.

  • If you bought your tickets online and selected ‘Dubai store’ for collection visit Virgin Megastore, The Dubai Mall.
  • If you bought your tickets online and selected ‘Abu Dhabi store’ for collection visit Virgin Megastore, Yas Mall.
  • If you bought your tickets from any Virgin Megastore in Dubai: visit Virgin Megastore, The Dubai Mall.
  • If you bought your tickets from any Virgin Megastore in Abu Dhabi: visit Virgin Megastore, Yas Mall.
  • If you bought your tickets in Qatar: visit Virgin Megastore, Villaggio Mall
  • * Qatar customers can collect tickets from Sunday 15th – Monday 30th March
  • If you bought your tickets in Bahrain: visit Virgin Megastore, City Centre
  • * Bahrain c customers can collect tickets from Sunday 15th – Monday 30th March

For Virgin Tickets online customers tickets can only be collected by the person who made the purchase. Upon collecting tickets, each customer will be requested to present their online order confirmation and one of the following valid original government photo identification documents: Emirates ID card, Drivers Licence or Passport.

For Virgin Tickets in-store customers you will need to bring the original stamped store receipt OR original stamped e-tickets along with a copy of a valid national ID or passport copy of the person who purchased the tickets. Copies of tickets or store receipts will not be accepted.
